Clara's Day Dive ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit clarasdaydive.com, contact us about events, or interact with our site — and how we use it.
This policy applies to our website only. It does not cover third-party sites we link to (such as Instagram).
Information we collect
We collect minimal information to operate our site and respond to inquiries:
- Contact details you provide by email or phone (name, email address, phone number, event details).
- Messages you send through Ask Clara, our on-site AI assistant, including your question and a short conversation history (up to four prior turns) to keep replies in context.
- Technical data collected automatically by our hosting provider: browser type, device type, general location (city/region), pages visited, and referring URL.
- Fonts are loaded from our own servers. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics on this site today.
Ask Clara (AI assistant)
When you use Ask Clara, your message and recent chat history are sent to our secure API, which uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) Bedrock to generate a response. We use this data only to answer your question and improve the reliability of the service.
Ask Clara does not require an account. We do not use your chat messages to train public AI models. Chat requests may be logged temporarily for abuse prevention and cost monitoring, then discarded.
Do not share sensitive personal information (such as payment details or government IDs) in Ask Clara. For private event bookings, use the contact email or phone listed on our site.
How we use information
- Respond to event and booking inquiries.
- Provide Ask Clara drink and venue suggestions.
- Improve our website and understand how guests find us.
- Comply with legal obligations.
- Protect against fraud or misuse of our services.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers to run our website:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — site hosting, API, and Ask Clara AI processing (Bedrock).
- Google Workspace or your email provider — if you contact us directly by email.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share contact details or Ask Clara messages with third parties for their marketing purposes.
Data retention
We keep inquiry emails and related correspondence as long as needed to manage your request and for reasonable business records, unless a longer period is required by law.
Your choices
- You may request access to or correction of personal information we hold about you.
- You may ask us to delete inquiry or Ask Clara records where we are not required to retain them.
- California residents may request information about data we collect — contact us using the email on our Contact section.

Children
Our website and bar are intended for guests 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.
